📋 Prerequisites Before Starting
Parent farm profile in draft status and physical presence at the plot location.
Steps to Complete Visual Observation Unit (Form 2)
- Open the farm detail page and select the Visual Observation Units (Form 2) tab.
- Click + Add Observation Unit.
- Define the physical characteristics of the observation plot:
- Unit Identifier: Enter a unique code, e.g.,
DEMO-01-DRAINorPLOT-A. - Unit Type: Choose Active plot (cultivated), Fallow plot (resting), or Drainage / irrigation edge (canal bank).
- Plot Dimensions: Enter Length (meters) and Width (meters) to determine the evaluated area.
- Surface Plastic Cover: Select visual debris coverage bracket (<1%, 1-5%, 6-15%, >15%).
- Brittleness & Fragmentation: Observe whether macro-plastics readily shatter into microplastic flakes under sunlight.
- Direct Environmental Pathway: Check if the plot directly borders an active stream, ravine, or irrigation canal.
- Unit Identifier: Enter a unique code, e.g.,
- Click Save Observation Unit.
Uploading Field Photographic Evidence
