Field Surveyor Registration and Email Verification Guide

Step-by-step procedures for registering a new surveyor account, password security best practices, and verifying your email link.

📋 Prerequisites Before Starting
Active personal or institutional email address.

Step-by-Step Account Registration

  1. Open the APRA platform homepage in your web browser.
  2. Click Register in the top-right navigation bar (or navigate to /register).
  3. Complete the registration form with accurate details:
    • Full Name: Enter your full name matching your enumerator assignment credentials.
    • Email Address: Provide an active personal or organizational email address.
    • Password: Choose a strong password of at least 8 characters including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
    • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password exactly.
  4. Click Register New Account.
  5. The system creates your account with the default role survey_user and prompts you to verify your email.
  6. Check your inbox and click the verification link sent by the system.

Understanding Pending Account Activation Status

To safeguard research integrity and maintain strict compliance with data governance standards, all newly registered surveyor accounts require manual activation by a Super Admin. Following email verification, you will see the Account Status page indicating Pending Administrator Approval.
